BREAKING: FIRST CONFIRMED CHALLENGERS IN THE 4th JULY CARDBOARD BOAT REGATTA!

Maritime Journal has challenged PSP Logistics to enter a cardboard boat into the 4 th July Cardboard Boat Regatta at Seawork on Wednesday 4 th July! Jo Dixie from PSP Logistics accepted the challenge and in turn challenged Landau! It’s so easy to challenge a competitor, simply use the image on Twitter and tag in the company you wish to challenge. Tickets are just £10 and can be purchased on www.seawork.com from 5 th April! Tickets include music, a drink, and some fabulous food from 5pm on the quayside and of course the opportunity to watch the Cardboard Boat Regatta. Young People Find Seawork 2018 to be Rewarding!

The ECM Young Person’s Development Award offers young people, from 17 – 30 years of age who are currently studying to work or just starting a career in the Maritime Industry, an opportunity to achieve industry recognition and a bursary to help further their career. Mercator Media is offering a bursary worth up to £850 (or equivalent value in relevant currency) to help one young maritime student, apprentice or trainee further advance their career. To enter all you have to do is make a short video showing us why you should win the ECM Young Person’s Development Award 2018; the video could showcase projects you have completed or are currently working on, or that demonstrate your passion for the industry. British Marine’s project to map the UK’s small commercial marine industry has entered the next important stage in its work in the run up to Seawork International 2018. SPEED AT SEAWORK ANNOUNCED!

Fast vessels will be flying into Seawork this year as we prepare for the Speed@Seawork event. The first of it's kind it aims to debut and showcase the very best in speedy commercial vessels!
