Sensor Alliance: A Seawork Networking Success Story

Seawork 2017 exhibitors Reygar and Gill Sensors & Controls have formed a strategic partnership where Gill’s extensive range of specialist sensors can be integrated into Reygar’s BareFLEET fleet monitoring system. While electronic system and sensor integration does not happen overnight and the deal has only recently been announced, it’s early seeds were sown at Seawork 2017. Reygar won a European Commercial Marine Industry Award at Seawork 2017 for its BareFLEET solution and also used the event to network with Trevor Pearson of Gill Sensors who was also an entrant for the same award. BareFLEET gathers comprehensive vessel data on engine health and performance, fuel economy, heave motion, vibration, structural loading and turbine transfer activity amongst other parameters. Concise daily reports present this information remotely to fleet operators and their customers in a simple, easy to understand format across their entire fleet.
