Fast vessels will be flying into Seawork this year as we prepare for the Speed@Seawork event. The first of it's kind it aims to debut and showcase the very best in speedy commercial vessels! Andrew Webster, CEO of Seawork organiser Mercator Media, said; “Speed@Seawork is being launched in response to sustained industry demand for a dedicated event for fast vessel builders, operators and specialist equipment manufacturers. Mapping the UK’s Small Commercial Marine Industry

British Marine’s project to map the UK’s small commercial marine industry has entered the next important stage in its work in the run up to Seawork International 2018.  The small commercial marine sector in the UK supports nearly 2,000 employees and generates revenues of approximately £182m It has launched a short but important survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SmallCommercialMarineSurvey2018 which aims to help it map the sector, understand the companies operating in it and where the growth opportunities lie going forward. “The aim of this work is to provide more data to help the industry engage with stakeholders, like the UK Government, but also to better understand the opportunities and risks facing the sector.
